Partner and AttorneyIn 1963, Mr. Hutson graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a Bachelor of Arts in economics. From there, Mr. Hutson continued at the university to earn an LL.B in 1966. That same year he was admitted to the Ohio bar. In the years following, he was admitted to the Hawaiian bar, the United States District Court, Southern District of Ohio, the United States District Court, Northern District, the United States Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit and the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.
In order to provide his clients with the best services, Mr. Hutson maintains affiliation with a number of institutions. He is an associate member of the American Institute of Architects, which grants him a unique look into construction. He is both a fellow and chairman of the Columbus Bar Association and a member of the Ohio State Bar Association. Additionally, Mr. Hutson is committed to preparing the next generation of lawyers with his work at Ohio State University and Capital University Law School. At Ohio State University, he participates in the Herman Moot Court Competition, the Appellate Advocacy Council and is a mock court judge. At Capital University Law School, Mr. Hutson is a mock court judge for the First Year Moot Court Competition.
Mr. Hutson is the son of John Jenkins and Kathryn Barbara, who served as sources of inspiration throughout his career. He married his wife Susan in 1967 and together they have two children, Elizabeth and Anne. Mr. Hutson endeavors to continue practicing law and serving clients with the best skills and resources that he has relied on for many years to come.
